What is THCB?
THCB (tetrahydrocannabutol) is a naturally occurring cannabinoid discovered in 2019 by Italian researchers, along with THCP. It has a butyl side chain (4 carbon atoms) in contrast to the pentyl chain (5 carbon atoms) of THC.
THCB was considered stronger than conventional THC , but weaker than THCP. Since its prohibition in June 2024, THCB is no longer legally available.
Why is THCB banned?
